It is mainly used to selective hydrogenate for the benzene cut fraction of the reformate, semi-regenerative reforming oil and the BTX cut fraction of the continuous catalytic reforming oil, and removing olefins in these feed stock with almost no loss of aromatic hydrocarbon. and it can produce benzene, methylbenzene, xylene and raffinate oil with qualified bromine index, can reach environment requirement without environment pollution. It composed of noble metal palladium as active component and aluminum oxide as support with adding of various additives.

Selective hydrogenating catalyst
It is mainly used to selective hydrogenate for the benzene cut fraction of the reformate, semi-regenerative reforming oil and the BTX cut fraction of the continuous catalytic reforming oil, and removing olefins in these feed stock with almost no loss of aromatic hydrocarbon. and it can produce benzene, methylbenzene, xylene and raffinate oil with qualified bromine index, can reach environment requirement without environment pollution. Its characteristics are as follows:
A.High hydrogenation activity .
the catalyst can thoroughly hydrogenate the unsaturated hydrocarbon to saturated hydrocarbon. The bromine index of hydrogenated products can be reduced to 0.05g Br/100ml oil.
B.Very perfect selectivity .
it can effectively saturate olefins and doesnot make aromatics such as benzene saturated.
In the process of hydrogenation, the aromatics loss of the products is less than 0.5%.
C. Long service life.
It is not necessary to regenerate it during 5 years’ operation.
D.high space velocity.
It can be operated under space velocity of more than 10h-1.
E. very low hydrogen to oil volume ratio. In this hydrogenation process, a great deal extra hydrogen is not necessary, Dissolved hydrogen will be enough, and this can save a large amount of energy.
