Synthetic Mordenite 

Mordenite has excellent heat resistance, acid resistance and water vapor resistance. It is widely used as an adsorbent for gas or liquid mixture separation and hydrocarbon cracking, hydrocracking, upgrading, dewaxing and dimethylamine synthesis, alkanes. A catalyst such as isomerization or alkylation of a polycyclic aromatic compound can be used as a desiccant or an adsorbent.
